Grumpy's LGR and Yay for Minnesota
If you haven't gathered, I've decided to join Grumpy's LGR. It was really only a matter of time before it happened. But in actuality, there are quite a few reasons I'm joining the team.
Here are the top five:
5. Two out of two visits to Grumpy's Bar NE, I've been pleasantly surprised with 2-for-1 glasses of wine. At $3!
4. Grumpy's LGR's dedication to racing - participating and promoting. Cycling is my passion, and racing is what makes me passionate about it!
3. The race-day enthusiasum (K-A-R-L-A, and getting flashed)
2. Grumpy's LGR rules the blog -o- sphere.
1. Stars, baby, stars.
And, a couple more: I like the Little Guy. Since he now has a team named after him, he's pretty much my idol. Plus, Grumpy's LGR used to be known as Team Awesome. Because it's awesome.
I also want to say a bit more: I know the MCF has it's conflicts and imperfections at times, but after being here in Minnesota for about 15 months, and racing for 10 or 11 of those, I'm very impressed with the racing and cycling community here. I've found many teams that I'd love to be a part of, and so many wonderful people that race, officiate, ride, volunteer, promote, and spectate in this sport that we're all a bit obsessed with. So thank you all. Awwww, doesn't that make you feel good inside?
