Slacker....

Yep, I'm a slacker on posting.

So shoot me.

Yesterday, I had an awesome 7 hour excursion to Lebanon Hills with Shana and Kristen. I pulled myself out of bed almost early enough to make it to Lake Harriet by 9:00am. Not quite early enough though. But I was lucky - they waited for me. We started out with some other Flanders guys, but then they split off and we headed out across the Mendota Bridge. Wow, mountain bikes are A LOT slower than road bikes, AND they sound like airplanes taking off when you go fast on the roads. We made our way down to Lebanon Hills as the day warmed up and the sun came out. When we got there, it was beautiful, and the parking lot was full of people that had driven down. The trails were in awesome shape, and it was the perfect day for a couple of laps. It was hard to finally cut ourselves off and make our way back to Minneapolis, but we did. By the time we got back, we were starving, so we stopped for a late lunch at Gigi's. Not bad!

That was the longest I've been on my mountain bike since 24 hours of 9-mile. I always forget how much FUN mountain biking is - we were all grinning like frickin cheshire cats the whole time. It was awesome.
