Cars and Cross
I've been seriously uninspired this past week as far as blogging goes. But stuff has indeed been happening -- on Friday, I went from zero cars to two cars in about 6 hours. The Civic is now sitting in my driveway, not running, and the Toyota Echo has been driving me around lately. I like it.
I also wanted to say thanks to everyone who cheered for me at the cross races this weekend. Especially today, there were people all over the course - it was awesome to hear everyone! I'm generally hurting quite a bit and don't acknowledge all the cheers, but I definitely hear you, and it totally helps. So thanks. And just let me know if you want me to cheer for you too.

Cheer for me - I need all the help I can get!!
cheer for LGR.
(you know you want to).
You rocked, Karla! My hubby was out with me watching and taking pics (which I'll send to you when he gets them uploaded).
Heck, I had been so enthusiastic about how great it was watching and cheering at Powderhorn last weekend, I didn't even have to twist the hubby's arm to come out to Como with me!!
Great job!!! Nice day for it, eh?
I like to be cheered for, but not at bike racing.
You should tape a message to the dashboard of your cars saying:
"ATTENTION THIEVES: Congratulations on stealing my car. Please help yourself to any of the change in the ashtray for highway tolls, burgers, etc. In return, I ask only that when you are done stealing this car, please avoid leave it on private property or in a handicapped space.
xoxo,
-Karla"
Karla, is that your new car that you are in on page 5 of the November Highland Villager? or did you steal it to get revenge, you celebrity you...
Is the Highland Villager that shitty newspaper that for some reason thinks that everyone in my apartment building is going to read twice so they throw twenty copies outside the building and everybody walks on them and the pages get torn and strewn all over the yards and street? Do they have a section on how to improve the environment?
