Karla! A live report!
Nice to have a hiker in the group as nerdy as Smithers!
It means a blog from the majestic middle of nowhere!
Thank you Treo!
Machu Picchu. You have to follow the Inca Trail for about forever to get here, (ok, 4 days).
The hike starts as a foot path, then eventually turns into a rocky road (not exactly gravel, more like big pieces of busted rock), and then into a straight up old school Incan highway.
Parts of the road are actually stairs that are craved into the mountian! Rad!
Then you get here. Check out some ruins and things. Snap a few photos for the old scrapbook...
Yadda, Yadda, Yadda.
It's pretty sweet, don't take it the wrong way. But after all this walking around, back in Lima, it'll be time to hit the Disco and a take friggin' cab around town!
So, here on top of the world - but in the middle of nowhere at the same time, thoughts just keep creeping back to this blog and to LGR, the new team for next year. Basically this team is going to be the coolest in the aera, by far, so you've kinda got to get in at the ground floor. It's a relief to know that everyone on the team thought it was a good idea... LGR has a cool factor of 10, so it is nice to make the cut!
Other than that, it was basically just to piss off Hollywood.
:)
Oh yeah... Peru! It's still rad, but it'll be nice to hang out with the team again!
I tried to take a photo of the ruins, but this damn Lama stuck his bastard head right in the shot!

Happy Holidays!
